Hello Final 5!!!
Welcome to your last judging session before the finale next week.
Let's start with the judging session now!!!
Eugen: While you look good and I do love the water effect, your skin doesn't look perfect. i can't explain it but I'm not loving your skin here. The photo itself is sexy, love the eye contact. Just not sure how I feel for the theme at hand.
Luke: I appreciate the time you took to both research the product and tie it into your photo. I'm not the biggest fan of your skin in this photo as it doesn't look as clear as it should be for a skin care product. I do like your pose and the intensity in your face. The Hydra tie-in is a nice touch, too.
Andrew: I like your explanation, but i'm not feeling the shot. It just doesn't feel L'Oréal to me... Had it just been the water in the background and not on your face, it may have looked a lot better. I love the shot on its own, but for this shoot im not sure it entirely works. Its a very tough week though, so good luck!
Sean: I like the angle and the water effects here. I think your skins look great. My only concern for this photo is the lighting. I think the lighting is too dark and didn't really help this photo.
Rhys: I really like you but and this picture is great but i feel the water is a tad distracting from the beauty of your skin
Eugen: I do like the clean shaven much more for this type of challenge. I'm not really in love with your look because I'm so used to rugged handsome Jamie, but it's not too horrible. I think I dont' like the shirt most of all, it's distracting me.
Luke: While I personally like the more rugged look, especially on you, the clean shaven look is perfect for this shoot and you still look really hot, anyway. Your skin looks fantastic in this shot and it has a great commercial quality, too. Great work.
Andrew: I think this is a great studio shot Jamie! Your skin looks flawless! except for those lips!! It looks like you got a little lipstick on them.. a little too pink compared to everything else in the photo. I also wish your head wasn't cut off at the top... for this shoot I usually prefer whole head shots...but this is still a good choice! Tough week, good luck!
Sean: I love this. I like the nice and good Jamie than the rugged one. I like the shirt too. And your face is gorgeous and I love how clean your skins here. Very suitable to the product this week. Good job
Rhys: I lvoe teh flawless skin and everything about it... im just not a fan of the mouth... it looks like your a tad angry
Eugen: Your face is divine. I love your skin here. Maybe a bit more cropping cuz that necklace is hideous, but blah, i just love your face. This might be the first time I'm totally in love with your face. I do see a difference in your expression, I like that.
Luke: Well, you may not have had the chance to use this for a better placement in the hair gel shoot, but at least that means you had it to use for this shoot. Your skin looks fantastic and I love the level of commercial value in this shot. Great work, Jay.
Andrew: A great studio shot for L'Oréal! I definitely see flawless skin and commercial value here... my only complaint is the head tilt. For this shoot i'd prefer your head to be straight looking at us... this one makes me feel like i should tilt my head to look at you haha. Its a little more cute than sexy, but that's okay. Like I've said to the others though, this week is really tough... Good luck!
Sean: Your skin is so flawless and I love the way you move your head. You look alive but I still think your expression can be more presentable and commercial. But I still like this photo.
Rhys: your expressions has basically been the same the whole game... you've wowed us throughout. Im not a fan of the chain on your neck cus it distracts me from your
Eugen: I kind of wish you could use your avatar lol I'm not sure how I feel about this. Not just that you look so young again, but, the quality of the photo is not amazing for this type of shoot. You look good and your skin looks nice but the tinge of the photo is kind of throwing me off.
Luke: Your skin looks good here and I can see a level of commercial value and modeling in this photo. I'm not 100% sold on your face in this shot, but I don't hate it, either. The lighting does seem a little off, as the photo feels a little off-color. Still, in the end, it's a solid shot that meets the requirements of the challenge. Also, Eugen, a precedent was set in the Female Cycle a few Cycles ago that if the model did not choose the photo to use in the game, it's generally not held against them if they use that photo in the shoot. While in my case, I used my Memory Wall picture in a shoot, an avatar would be the same case. Personally, if Logan had used his avatar photo in this shoot, I personally would not have counted off for that.
Andrew: I think your shot shows off your flawless skin great! The facial expression is a little more surprised than i'd like to see, but its not terrible... just not a fan of the ajar mouth. I'm not sure how I feel on the blurriness aspect in your photo... it does direct my attention to just your face, but it takes away from the commercial value a bit. I love the sweater however, and your eyes are gorgeous... this will be a tough week to judge. Good luck!
Sean: I never forbid the models to use their avatar but it did affect the surprise factor of your photo. Same as using the photo from the same photoshoot. It's not going to affect much if the photo is good. As for this photo, I like it. You look so commercial and I love your smile. Your skin is great and I don't have any problem with the quality.
Rhys: I really like this... i think this may be my favorite so far or at least in my top. You skin is flawless and yoru face makes it look happy and makes me want to buy what you sell
Eugen: The shadow of the wall with the hood of your sweater, I thought you were going for a mullet lmfao I wish you would have cropped the whole side of this photo. The quality gives your face sort of a grainy look so I'm not seeing flawless, but I am glad you're staring at the camera.
Luke: It's a shame that the quality of the photo makes your skin look grainy; especially since this shoot is about a skin care product. Your posing is fine and the styling works, but I'm also not a fan of your squinting eyes in this shoot.
Andrew: I sort of wish you angled your face towards us... but its a good shot and shows off your flawless skin. I could totally see this as an advertisement... wish you could've cropped though. I can see what the guys are saying about the "graininess", but I don't think it's too much to worry about. This is gonna be a tough round though, good luck!
Sean: I love this, especially the angle. I always love the model who chose to present us the face not just looking at us straight forward. You present your skin here. And it's flawless. And your jawline. Oh Gosh... That's gorgeous.
Rhys: I love the look of this photo... i think it has promise... the look though is a tad turn offish
